Ntrinsik Movement will be having auditions on Sunday September 18th at Hunter College. 

Ntrinsik is looking for dancers to join as company members and apprentice for Season 8. Dancers should have a strong background in Modern, Jazz, & Afro infused dance styles. 

The dance season includes several performances throughout the year, and will end with an annual company concert in November 2023. Compensation available for performances.

NTRINSIK MOVEMENT

Co-Founded in July 2014, the name "Ntrinsik" is taken from the word "Intrinsic" meaning "movement that comes from within." Ntrinsik has performed in various theaters such as Symphony Space, The Ailey Citigroup Theater, Kumble Theater for the Performing Arts, and several others in NYC and other locations in the United States.  Ntrinsik believes in and practices the diversity of dance, blending various dance styles such as Afro-Modern, Contemporary Ballet, and Jazz to create and produce original works. Their zeal for the performing arts is showcased through their performance, choreography, instruction, and service to the community. 
 
In 2018, Ntrinsik Movement launched a Pre-Professional Program called IFE The Movement, with the mission of giving young, gifted dancers access to intense technical training, professional performance experience, and professional artistic development. In 2020, Ntrinsik Movement launched and opened the doors to their new home in Brooklyn, New York: Ntrinsik Studios. Ntrinsik Studios is the home of Ntrinsik and IFE, and is dedicated to providing high quality instruction for all ages and levels of dance. Ntrinsik Studios also functions as a performing arts venue for a diverse array of creatives in the greater NYC area to utilize.
