THE PUBLIC THEATER - "HELL’S KITCHEN" (LEVEL 3 AEA MUSICAL DEVELOPMENT)
 
The Public Theater is seeking a group of dancers of all genders 20’s-30’s, that is as diverse as New York city itself, for a Level 3 AEA Musical Development of a new musical (dancers do not need to be members of AEA to participate). Seeking eclectic, athletic, individual, unique, and highly skilled dancers. Disabled or non-disabled Must possess strong knowledge of and comfortability with all dance styles. Must have a strong sense of rhythm. Special skills (i.e. acrobatics, backflips, etc.) a plus. Ability to sing in an ensemble a plus, but not a must.


VACCINATION INFORMATION **PLEASE READ**: As a condition of employment, the Public will require all employees who report to work on site (either at the Public Theater or any other workspace or performing location) to confirm that they are fully vaccinated (at least 14 days have passed since the date of receiving the final vaccine dose in the COVID-19 vaccine series) and have received an additional dose/booster shot if eligible.

PROJECT DATES: Nov 14 - Dec 11, 2022
 
Contract: AEA Level 3 Development, $630/week


DANCERS MUST IDENTIFY AS NEW YORK LOCAL HIRES
 
SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS:
We are looking for a REEL/DEMO or 2-minute clip that shows us who you are as a dancer. We want to see movement that expresses your individuality.
 
Styles of dance we are seeking: HIP HOP, RHYTHMIC, AND CONTEMPORARY DANCE
 
WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR MUSICAL THEATER DANCE STYLES. PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT MUSICAL THEATER STYLE CLIPS
 
All submissions must be received by 12:00 PM EST ON THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 22.*
