Toby specializes in working with people struggling to find creative fulfillment in what they do, emerging artistic careers of all disciplines, and people looking to formalize their creative hobbies into something more.

Toby holds a music degree from the University of Michigan and an MFA in performing arts management from Brooklyn College. Most recently, he served as artistic director of Super Secret Arts, a buzzy theater start-up and venue that was featured in outlets including American Theatre and WNYC. Toby has blazed an eclectic artistic path - beginning his career playing, recording, and touring with indie rock bands, while finding a niche in religious music as a music director and writer. In New York, he has produced and engineered records for other artists, worked as a conductor and arranger, and collaborated on numerous musical theater projects as a composer, playwright, and sound designer. His work has been praised in the New York Times, New York Magazine, and the New Yorker, and has been produced Off-Broadway, regionally, and academically.
