Jersey City Ballet Theater Audition

Looking for classically trained male and female dancers for project work as we continue to move forward in creating programs and securing funding for JERSEY CITY BALLET THEATER COMPANY. JERSEY CITY BALLET THEATER is a registered 501C3 organization whose mission is to bring Classical and Contemporary Ballet to the community and beyond.

The audition will consist of an hour of class and move on to choreography. Women should be prepared to do pointe work.

Rehearsals will be in downtown Jersey City at the school of JERSEY CITY BALLET with easy access to Grove Street and Pavonia Newport PATH stations

Most rehearsals are Saturday and Thursday. There is flexibility with the weekday rehearsal. Rehearsals are either 15 /hour plus a performance stipend or paid by the project

Hudson County and NJ artists are encouraged to apply. We cannot offer visas at this time. Participants are required to be vaccinated. We follow NJ guidelines for Covid which are subject to change.
