Hiring DANCE TEACHERS for After-School Program (Jersey City, NJ)

The Kennedy Dancers, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization in Jersey City, NJ is seeking experienced dance teachers for our Jersey City Board of Education Casper After-School Program starting February 2023.

 

The Casper After-School Program Information (Subject to Change):

Location: Jersey City, NJ

Program Dates: February 6th – end of April

Duration: 3 months (possible extension into Summer Program)

Time: 3:30pm – 4:30pm (possibly extended to 5:30pm)

Days per Week: Monday through Thursday; 2-4 days a week

 

We are seeking dance teachers who:

* Teach at least 2 of the following dance styles: Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, Creative Dance, and Hip-Hop
* Must be comfortable teaching students of all ages, from grade Pre-K up to 5th grade
* Must love to work with children
* Be committed to teaching (not touring)
* Be amicable, prompt, punctual, reliable
* Be comfortable submitting to a background check & finger printing
* Must have a Bachelor’s degree (BFA)
* Must have a minimum of 2 years of teaching

 

Compensation: Based on Experience/Availability ($50/ hour)

Available Positions: 4
