Destination 4Ever is seeking a community outreach intern to assist in the managing and growth of our community presence and awareness. This is an excellent opportunity for a college student, recent graduate or someone looking to gain experience for a career shift. 

Directed by musician, tap dancer and vocalist Alexandria “Brinae Ali” Bradley; the mission of Destination 4ever is to: provide a platform for artists, incubate innovation, and collaboration by using the power of the arts as a means of liberation, healing and advocacy. Responsibilities:

Assist with the planning and coordination of community events

Identify and reach out to possible community partnerships, education and performance opportunities with local business and organizations

Attend and participate in meetings with potential community partners

Working directly with staff to support overall project needs.

Must be comfortable or familiar with graphic editing software such as Canva, Adobe Illustrator or something similar

Qualifications:

Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills

Must have excellent oral and written communication skills

Must have enthusiasm for building relationships and event planning within a small arts organization setting. 

Must be a self-starter with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently as well as with others. 

Seeking compassionate and patient individuals with a strong appreciation for the performing arts and service to their community. 

Commitment:

Needed to start by March - May, 2023. This position is based in Baltimore, MD. Time commitment will be approximately 10 hours per week with a hybrid of in person and remote. 

Pay: $15/ hour
