KPC Seeks Dynamic Performing Artists ASAP for Paid Performances

 

*REQUESTING VIDEO AUDITION SUBMISSIONS ASAP*

***Upcoming PAID performances April 25th & May3rd***Rehearsals start Sunday March 26th***

KPC - "Keeping People Connected" is a multidisciplinary collective of Performing Artists that tell stories examining social injustices and stigmatized, difficult subject matter through dance, music, and conversation.

Believing in Movement as our Pathway to Wellness, KPC creates groundbreaking dance musicals that center and celebrate disenfranchised people and marginalized communities, offering opportunities to process and cope with challenging lived experiences. 

KPC is searching for dynamic, expressive performing artists who dance and act, specifically those adept at connecting emotion to choreography through narrative based movement. We need artists who are focused, determined and fired up to create change in the world by using dance as our medium to access emotion, leading to conversation and understanding: "We are more alike than we are different" as our motivating credo.

ESPECIALLY SEEKING BLACK & BROWN LGBTQ+ & TGNC ARTISTS, every Race, Gender, Body Size and Shape WELCOME!!!

*PAID performances* $100 per performance minumum, depending on role

Accepting VIDEO SUBMISSIONS for consideration to join KPC starting ASAP for rehearsals in preparation for upcoming performances in April and May; Please be available Tuesday April 25th and Wednesday May 3rd, both 5-9pm, for performances.

Requested Rehearsal Dates to be available: Sunday March 26th 4-8pm, Weds March 29th 6-10pm, Sun April 2nd 3-7pm, Weds April 5th 6-9pm, Sun April 9th 3-7pm, Weds April 12th 6-10pm, Sun April 16th 3-7pm, Weds April 19th 6-10pm, Sun April 23rd 1-4pm, Weds April 26th 6-10pm, Sun April 30th 3-7pm

Upcoming performances are of KPC's Pathway to Wellness through Movement: I COULD NEVER LOVE ANYONE... an adjunct resource created for the Recovery community, featuring KPC's I COULD NEVER LOVE ANYONE... a dance theater musical spotlighting substance use and mental health disorders and their effect on the entire family unit.
