The Public Theater is seeking female dancers to join the ensemble of a new musical in development for a summer Off-Broadway Level 3 Development, with an Off-Broadway production planned for the Fall of 2023, with choreography by Camille A. Brown.

ENSEMBLE DANCERS
20’s-30’s. Black or Latine women. Disabled or non-disabled. Seeking eclectic, athletic, individual, and highly skilled dancers. Particularly interested in highly-skilled dancers who also possess unique, offbeat looks and energies that would feel authentic to NYC in the 1990's. Must be fluent in all dance styles and possess a strong rhythmic ability.

Dancers do not need to be members of AEA to participate.

VACCINATION INFORMATION **PLEASE READ**: As a condition of employment, the Public will require all employees who to work on site (either at the Public Theater or any other workspace or performing location) to confirm that they are fully vaccinated (at least 14 days have passed since the date of receiving the final vaccine dose in the COVID-19 vaccine series) have received an additional dose/booster shot if eligible.

DANCERS MUST BE NEW YORK LOCAL HIRES (LIVING WITHIN 50 MILES OF NYC)

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS:

We are looking for a REEL/DEMO or 2-minute clip that shows us who you are as a dancer. We want to see movement that expresses your individuality.

Styles of dance we are seeking: HIP HOP, RHYTHMIC, AND CONTEMPORARY DANCE

WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR MUSICAL THEATER DANCE STYLES. PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT MUSICAL THEATER STYL CLIPS.
