Seeking Performers & Dance Teachers! (Summer 2023 Jersey City, NJ)

Seeking experienced dance teachers and professional dancers to join the Kennedy Dancers team for the 2023 Summer Performances and Summer Camp Classes!

Must have at least 2 years of previous dance teaching and/or professional performing experience; availability for rehearsals and performances during the specified dates; a positive attitude and passion for dance; on-time and reliable.

 

Dance Teaching Opportunities:

- Dance Teachers must be able to teach 2 or more of the following: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Tumbling, Basic Acro, Latin, HipHop, Contemporary and more!

>Seeking dance teachers for a 4-week Summer Dance Camp classes at the Kennedy Dancers Studio. Dates: July 10-Aug. 4 (9 a.m.-2:30 p.m.)

>Seeking dance teachers to teach in several Jersey City, NJ schools from July 10-Aug. 4 (3:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m.) 

 

Performance Opportunity:

-Performers must have training in Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz and willing to work/ learn new styles!

-Begins May 24 for 6 weeks

-Dates: Tues. & Thurs. 

-Times: TBD

-Studio Location: The Kennedy Dancers Studio (79 Central Ave., Jersey City, NJ 07306)

-Performance: July (all Thurs., 5:30 p.m. - 6:45 p.m.) at J. Owen Grundy Performance Pier at Exchange Place in Jersey City, NJ 07302.

 

Compensation:

Rehearsals are paid at $22/hr.; performance pays $100 per show; Payment for Summer Camp classes and Public School classes range from $25-$45/hr.
