Experienced Part-time Administrator for Table of Silence Project 9/11

Position: Part-time, currently hybrid remote and in-person with flexible schedule. Attendance at rehearsals and performances required. Position available immediately. 

Buglisi Dance Theatre, Jacqulyn Buglisi Artistic Director, is a premier contemporary dance company founded in 1993 and based in New York City. Now in its 30th year, the company has a history of multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural collaborations and acclaimed seasons at The Joyce Theater, New York Live Arts, Ailey Citigroup Theater; performances in public festivals including River to River, Battery Dance, Bryant Park, and Fire Island Dance Festival; residencies and touring.

Buglisi Dance Theatre seeks a part-time administrator to assist in the coordination of the award-winning, 13th annual Table of Silence Project 9/11 performance ritual and Call to Action for Peace at Lincoln Center on Monday September 11, 2023. The public performance is held on the Josie Robertson Plaza with 150+ dancers and musicians, and is streamed live, reaching viewership in 238 countries/territories around the globe. Position may also involve assistance with NYC performance seasons, touring, cultivation and benefit events, and educational outreach. The Administrator reports to the Executive Director and the Artistic Director.

Skills & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

- Possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must be extremely organized, detailed-oriented and self-motivated.  
- Scheduling, tracking attendance, and corresponding with the performers throughout the rehearsal and performance process.
- Database maintenance (Filemaker)
- Excellent computer literacy skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Google Suite).  
- Proficiency in social media, website management (WIX), Constant Contact, and graphic design (Photoshop, Canva, Publisher); video editing a plus.
- Assistance in cultivation events.
