K-12 Workshop Facilitator – School Workshop Facilitator for Grades 6-12

About Us: Pass It Along, is a non-profit organization committed to helping build confident, resilient, and compassionate youth through self-discovery, volunteerism and leadership. a nonprofit.

Our Grades 6-12, 12-week program Be the Change helps students build self-esteem and self-worth through leadership, social & emotional learning, and service.

Be the Change not only impacts students, but teachers as well. In addition we provide professional development to participating classroom teachers, aiding them in connecting the concepts we cover during our Be the Change in-class sessions and their daily classroom practices.

What We are Hiring For: We are currently contracting schools in Sussex County, NJ and are looking to hire and train dynamic workshop facilitators who can join our team and be contacted for classroom workshops and staff professional developments. 

Pay: $50 per class and $50 an hour for training.  You will teach more than one class in a day. 

Job Requirements:

Demonstrated experience in lesson planning and facilitation, preferably for grades 6-12. 

Strong knowledge and expertise in relevant topics related to social & emotional learning, leadership, service, and/or arts education. 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to create a safe and inclusive space for open discussions and shared experiences.

Proficiency in designing engaging and interactive lessons and activities.

Compassion, empathy, and understanding of the challenges faced by students. 

Collaboration skills to work effectively with program directors and team.

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a background check and provide references.

Valid Driver's License.
