Audition Announcement: Join Bloodline Dance Theater's 2023 World AIDS Day Production

Audition Dates:

Audition 1: Wednesay, October 18th 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Location: Brevoort Community Studio 280 Ralph Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11233

About Us: Bloodline Dance Theater is thrilled to announce auditions for our 2023 World AIDS Day Production. We are seeking passionate and dedicated dancers to be part of this meaningful project that aims to raise awareness and support for a crucial cause.

Audition Details:

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled audition time.
Prepare to perform a brief dance routine (choreography provided on the spot).
Dress comfortably in appropriate dance attire.
Bring a copy of your resume and headshot (if not already submitted).

Production Photoshoot: Dancers who successfully pass the audition will also participate in a production photoshoot to create marketing materials for the show. Details about the photoshoot will be provided after the auditions.

Important Information:

Be prepared to showcase your talent and creativity.
Bring any necessary personal items (water, snacks, dance shoes, etc.) for your comfort.
If you have scheduling conflicts or questions, please contact us in advance.

About Bloodline Dance Theater:

Formerly known as Fierce Roots, Bloodline Dance Theatre was created by Lamont Joseph as a collective of the arts for emerging choreographers and dancers in Brooklyn. The company is comprised of five choreographers and over 20 dancers ranging from beginner to professional. The company focuses on creating ballets that are reflective of current times as well as historical and religious concepts. To date, the company has performed for several NYC public schools, The West Indian American Carnival Association, The Brooklyn Museum, The African Spirt Awards, St Paul’s Baptist Church, and is Residency at Medgar Evers College City University of New York.
