Disney Cruise Line, Mainstage Dancer Auditions [NYC - November 27th, 2023]

Disney Cruise Line® is conducting auditions for Mainstage Dancer needs across Disney's fleet of ships. Disney takes pride in the art of theatrical storytelling, producing the highest caliber entertainment at sea. Tell stories only Disney can tell in a unique and exciting way! Walt Disney Theatre productions have an intentionally inclusive BIPOC casting approach. Mainstage shows include Disney Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Frozen, Disney Dreams, Aladdin a Musical Spectacular. Current Covid-19 protocols in place and will be discussed at time of offer.

We hire a repertory company to perform full scale musical theatre shows. Seeking a diverse range of performers to bring Disney’s fleet of ships to life! Must be trained in ballet and jazz. Some Male identifying roles require Tumbling and/or Tap.  

Rehearsal takes place in Toronto, Canada. Typical contract includes up to 8 weeks rehearsal and 6 months onboard. Contract includes competitive pay, travel, room and board – guest sailing privileges, significant contract completion bonus and some guest dining privileges.

Highly skilled and trained dancers for Male and Female identifying roles, all ethnicities.

IMPORTANT: 

Auditions are in-person only and must be attended to be considered. Disney Cruise Line will not accept self-tapes, reels or video conferencing.

Audition appointments are first come first serve. Once the calendar shows no available times, all auditions have been filled. 

Once appointment is confirmed you will receive a confirmation email of your time and location. 

 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
 

·   Safety protocols are in place – Masks may be required.

·   If selected, performers will be hired as crew and must complete all application, pre-employment, and onboarding requirements.

·   Performers will be considered Crew Members while working onboard.

·   Must be willing to comply with all Disney grooming guidelines and employment standards.

·   All performers must be at least 18 years of age.

·   All performers must be fluent in English (understanding, speaking, and writing).

·   Travel is required.

·   We strongly encourage performers from all cultural backgrounds to audition.
