Six Degrees Dance's Affordable Class series is a monthly series taught by Six Degrees company members and guest artists, designed to connect new artists with our work and offer an affordable space to experiment and grow. Come dance with us on January 13 from 2:30-4!

Class will be taught by company member Sara Pizzi. In this class, Sara will share her discoveries and analysis of the use of the body through a warm-up that focuses on increasing space in the joints, followed by exercises that contain floor work foundations & guided choreography that leads to fluid and dynamic movements. This class aims to introduce diverse ways to use the body in space and new awareness of ones approach to movement, applying fluidity and encouraging organic, full-bodied dancing.

Location: Battery Dance

Cost: $10 (Venmo, Cash, Zelle)

email cecly@sixdegreesdance.com for more information and to register.

Classes will be held the first Saturday of each month
