OPEN CALL FOR FEMALE IDENTIFYING CHOREOGRAPHERS.

What is "We Move"?

Built under the direction of Drye/Marinaro Dance Company, Our mission at We Move is to build a diverse community of artists who want to expand their art forms and networks while offering value to the viewers who watch. WE believe dance is more than movement, and can be a vehicle for change in ourselves and in our communities.

THEME: "BAD A** MOTHER” 

As a Celebration of Women's History Month, Drye/Marinaro Dance Company explores women's vulnerability , strength, fierceness, and fearlessness through movement!

DATE: Sunday, March 10th  Show 2PM

Location: Alpha Omega Dance Theatrical Dance Studio 70 E.4th st New York, NY

Your Work!

-Searching for 3  works to be perform alongside our companies work.

-Choreographers/Artists must be from NYC and surrounding areas.

-Work should be between: (3-7 mins max) 

-Work can be of any genre  

-Work should explore and share a strong perspective on the many facets of Women, and the choreographer should be able to speak to this during the performance.                                          

-Work should be an already finished w/ an emphasis on strong performance quality and a clear conceptualized idea.

 -Work will be showcased in a raw space w/ no lighting
