Theatre For Young Audiences at 92NY on the Upper East side of Manhattan is casting contemporary dancers for their next show ‘THE TEMPEST’

You must be avail for all dates for the production. Please check the dates before submitting.

Seeking expressive and excellent contemporary dancers who can move these stories along. Vocal ability a plus but not required (unless noted). All gender identities are welcome and encouraged to submit. Please see specific roles below:

CALIBAN – Any gender. Disgruntled inhabitant of the island. Punk rock/emo style singer. Mezzo/belt A4-D5 Strong contemporary dancer.

 

PROSPERO – Any gender. A sorcerer and the former Duke of Milan. Mezzo/belt A4-C5. Strong contemporary dancer.

 

ALONSO – Any gender. King of Naples, comedic role. Mezzo/belt A4-D5. Strong contemporary dancer.

 

ANTONIO – Any gender. Duke of Milan and Prospero’s brother. Mezzo/belt A4-D5. Strong contemporary dancer.

 

STRONG CONTEMPORARY DANCERS – Seeking expressive, strong contemporary dancers who can move this story along. This is a non-singing role.
