We will create a new work based on Martha Graham's Appalachian Spring to be presented on April 20 (changed from April 21) in Manhattan. Dancers will choose phrases from the original and create improvisions for a new, structured improvised piece. The process will be similar to that for our recent Trio B based on Rainer’s Trio A. Rehearsals starting week of March 14 will be in Manhattan at a mutually agreeable time, likely two hours per week in the evening in the East Village.
