Sculptor seeking research/rehearsal performers to help test and develop a new movement work in the studio.

Compensation: $45/hr - Bushwick (L train), Brooklyn, NY

Dates: Sundays April 14, April 21, April 28, May 5, 12pm-4pm.

Availability all four dates preferred (but if you’re interested and can’t make all four, reach out anyway).

Performers should:

be genuinely comfortable climbing and balancing, as on a jungle gym
be able to use your (speaking) voice while improvising
be willing to experiment with safely supporting another person using shoulders and hands
be generally open to experimentation and play
bonus: have a background or interest in calisthenics, pole, circus sports, or acrobatics as well as dance/live art
The work explores Black vernacular movement culture; black and brown performers welcome.
