Inclined Dance Project seeks applicants for their annual split-bill series inQUAD.
inQUAD is a split-bill performance series that aims to present, promote, and network emerging women and female identifying choreographers. Now entering its 6th year, the mission of inQUAD is to network emerging female identifying choreographers, provide participating artists with resources for show prodution, and present emerging choreographers with 2 fully produced performances.

This year's inQUAD will be taking place December 6 & 7, 2024 at JACK.

We are seeking female identifying choreographers to present new work or extension of an existing work, between 12-20mins in length. inQUAD is best suited for choreographers & companies who want to make the jump from shorter, festival setting works to longer, more developed pieces. Selected choreographers will have the opportunity to develop their works alongside each other, utilizing monthly meeting sessions for group rehearsals, creative problem solving, and feedback forums leading up to a two night performance run.

Cis, Trans, Queer, BIPOC, and gender non-conforming women are encouraged to apply. We believe that female identity can have many forms. We encourage applications from anyone who feels they identify with inQUAD'S mission of connection and presentation.

Three choreographers will be selected and receive the following:
-$300 stipend
-2 night performance run at JACK on December 6th & 7th, located in the Fort Greene neighborhood of Brooklyn
-1 hour technical rehearsal
-1x monthly cohort studio sessions taking place from September - November. These monthly sessions provide choreographers with opportunities for works in progress showings, feedback forums with fellow choreographers, class explorations, and complimentary rehearsal time for selected participants.
-archival video footage
-professional photographs of performances
-press and marketing assistance
