AoCC: At Capacity - Fall 24'

At Capacity is a showcase for emerging artists of color to have their choreography publicly presented and documented in a low stakes environment. The goal of At Capacity is to give artists a low to no cost opportunity to receive performance documentation in support of showing a record of professional practice and performance in applications, grants, residencies, fellowships, etc.


The Artists of Color Council (AoCC) is a cohort of artists of color addressing cultural diversity, equity, and sustainable infrastructures in New York City’s dance communities and organizations under the auspices of Movement Research. Through inclusionary programming, curation, and advocacy, the council works to increase visibility, accessibility, and engagement with resources for movement based artists of color.

The Artists of Color Council is hosting two oppurtinties to participate in At Capacity:

- Tuesday, September 10th at Triskelion Arts

- Saturday, November 2nd at BAX/Brooklyn Arts Exchange 


Application Deadline: Sunday - August 18th, 2024

Other acceptable forms of application submission can be an audio recording of responses or a video recording of responses. Email applications of this form to coordinatoraocc@movementresearch.org.
