SEEKING DANCERS! Ages 10+ amatuer and professional for a moving art installation taking place at our Gold Coast Dance Festival 8/3

  **  WE ARE SEEKING 300+ DANCERS **  to participate in a first ever dance collective.  It's about time we come together to celebrate each other, dance with one another, and shine together!

Hailed by Nassau County Parks and Recreation, Nassau County Legislature, & Glen Cove City Council as one of the most peaceful and exhilarating evenings on Long Island, the Gold Coast Dance Festival will introduce it's first ever moving art installation, A Dance For Peace, bringing together both amateurs and professionals for an inspiring and uplifting mass choreography. Rehearsals are flexible, some in person and some via zoom. All studios will be acknowledged.  General time it will take to learn choreo is 3-4 days. Videos are available one registered. There is a nominal one-time registration fee of $20 per dancer. See link below for discounts of 10+ dancers.

Launched by Moving On and NYDT's Executive Artistic Director Nicole Loizides in 2021, GCDF brings some of the country's top talents to Long Island for all to enjoy.  Located at Morgan Park, Glen Cove, this evening has included stars from Broadway, New York City Ballet, STOMP, Pilobolus, NBC's World of Dance, Fox's So You Think You Can Dance, American Ballet Theatre, Miami City Ballet, Alvin Ailey, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Parson's Dance Company, Moving On, Momix, Leggy Bones Dance Theatre, East By North, Buglisi Dance Company, Martha Graham, Salt Lake City Ballet, FJK Dance, Ballet Nepantla, and Forces of Nature Dance Company and hosts a bold variety of cultural dances and influences from around the world including, but not limited to Mexico,  Spain, China, Japan, India, Africa, and the Middle East.
