Dominic Moore-Dunson, Dance Magazine’s 2023 “25 to Watch '', and The Remember Balloons is seeking one male & one female dance artist who possesses a strong foundation in contemporary and modern dance techniques for the 2024-2025 national tour. 

In addition to technical skills, applicants should have worked as teaching artists, especially with K-5 children. 

Tour Dates: Fall 2024-Spring 2025, 8 locations nationwide

Video Submission Deadline: The Remember Balloons Audition is INVITATION ONLY. Applicants should submit a resume, headshot, brief statement of interest and video for review to auditions@rememberballons.com by August 9th, 2024. Video may be of you in studio or performance (must be solo or easily identified), 3-5 minutes of footage. Invited candidates will be notified with audition location and times.

Expectations for dance artists: Daily 60-90 min company class, be prepared to learn assigned roles and the ability to maintain physical capacity to dance and perform. Be prepared for lengthy improvisation sessions.

Dates of invited audition: September 18th, 19th & 20th, 2024. INVITED DANCERS MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR ALL THREE DATES. Locations in Akron, OH. 

Salary/Wage: $20/hour for rehearsals; $180-200 day rate for touring. Payment range is based on experience. 

Start Date: Must be able to begin rehearsals October. 9-18, 2024. Rehearsals held in Akron, OH & McLean, VA.
