Admin Assistant for Dance Studio - Washington Heights

 

American Youth Dance Theater seeks mature and experienced individual to perform part time administrative assistant, front desk duties at our Washington Heights location, Tuesday afternoons and Saturday mornings during the 2024-25 school year. Must have at least 2 years of office work with strong technology, organizational and interpersonal skills. Dance experience and bi-lingual Spanish is a plus.

Seeking friendly individual with strong communication skills, who enjoys working with children and can communicate in a friendly yet firm and effective manner with adults. This position includes desk work as well as physical work like assisting children up and down stairs, assisting parents and caregivers with stroller storage, bending down to fit children for dance wear and moving quickly through a multi-level space in a busy, fast paced environment 

Schedule for September 10-June 14:

Tuesday     2:00-6:00pm

Saturday    9:30am-12:30pm

Also requires a monthly or biweekly staff meeting, which can be attended remotely, on a weekday between 1-3pm. Day of the week and time TBD.
