Dance Instructor Needed for Creative Aging Program

The Kennedy Dancers, non profit dance organization based in Jersey City, is currently seeking a passionate and experienced dance teacher to lead our Creative Aging Program. This program offers free dance classes designed specifically for adults and senior citizens ages 55+, focusing on improving physical health, mobility, and overall well-being through movement.

We are looking for an instructor who is patient, engaging, and capable of creating a welcoming environment for older adults with varying levels of experience.

Class Schedule

- Monday: Yoga | 12:30 - 1:15 PM
- Wednesday: Jazz with Latin Medley Music | 12:30 - 1:15 PM
- Thursday: Zumba | 12:30 - 1:15 PM

Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Kennedy Dancers Studio | 79 Central Ave, Jersey City, NJ 07306

Responsibilities:

- Teach and lead dance classes tailored to the needs of older adults.
- Encourage participation and foster a fun, supportive class environment.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate varying skill levels and mobility.
