Physical Therapy Aide

 

Metro Sports Physical Therapy is an outpatient orthopedic group located in NYC with over 20 years of serving the local community. We are currently seeking outstanding individuals to join our growing team.
Our Physical Therapy Aide position is the perfect fit for individuals who want to gain clinical knowledge in movement and rehabilitation. As a key component in our care team, we are looking for Aides who will assist our therapists with delivering excellent care to our patients. We are seeking motivated, hands-on candidates excited to learn in a fast paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting physical therapist with all aspects of patient care, monitoring and observing patient progress through treatment.
- Maintaining a clean environment within the treatment and exercise areas, including tables, gym equipment and any other high-touch surfaces.
- Assisting patients with therapist-guided exercises, ensuring proper form and safety.
- Directing patient flow through treatment area to reduce crowding and wait times.
- Creating a caring and compassionate environment through excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Assisting administrative staff whenever necessary.

Required Criteria:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Interest/experience in body mechanics

Prior job experience is not necessary!!!

 

Job Type: Part-Time
Start Date: As soon as possible
Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday (3pm - 8pm)
Compensation: Starting at $17 per hour
