Hello Dancers, 

As the holiday season approaches, we’re excited to start preparing for our annual Holiday Showcase! We have several performance opportunities lined up, and this year’s holiday performance will also be videotaped for broadcast on Verizon’s "Dance Vista" show. Below are the details regarding rehearsals, performances, and compensation.

Rehearsals

- Start Date: October 24, 2024
- Days: Thursdays and Fridays

-Thursdays: 1:30 PM – 3:30/4:00 PM
-Fridays: 2:00 PM – 4:00/4:30 PM

We will have approximately 8 weeks of rehearsal time. Please note: There will be no rehearsal on Thanksgiving (Thursday), but we will rehearse the day after on Friday.

Performances

- Christmas Party: Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish Event

-Date: December 14, 2024
-Time: 8:30 PM

Kennedy Dancers Studio - Holiday Showcase:

-Date: Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 7:00 PM
-Date: Sunday, December 22, 2024, at 3:00 PM

-Tentative: Open Rehearsal at Public School 25 (Date/Time TBD)

Compensation

-Rehearsals: $23 per hour
-Performances: $125 per performance

If you've worked with The Kennedy Dancers before, many of the pieces will be familiar, though we plan to introduce 1-2 new choreographed dances.
