Volunteer Opportunity for Resonance

We're looking for enthusiastic POC volunteers (AAPI+ highly encouraged) to join us in making our upcoming event, Resonance, a success. This is a chance to be part of something special and support an event that uplifts Asian American stories and builds community through art.

What You’ll Do:

Help promote the event by resharing our social media posts and inviting your friends.
Assist on the day of the event (November 2, 2024) with tasks like:

Setting up night market booths, lights, chairs, and decorations.
Running booths or helping attendees with support.
Checking people in, ushering, assisting dancers with quick changes.
Taking photos, passing out programs, and helping with post-show cleanup.

We'll have a Zoom meeting before the event to go over logistics. Volunteers will be invited to the dress rehearsal and can watch both shows for free!

What You’ll Get:

Be part of a community-driven event.
Great networking opportunities.
Experience in event production.
And of course, snacks, food, and breaks provided!

If you're interested, please fill out the Google form linked here.

Resonance is a multi-experiential Asian American dance event, born out of a need to combat anti-Asian hate and foster community, featuring an immersive night market and a dance performance celebrating themes of identity, assimilation, and queer pride.

We can't wait to work with you!
