ACCENT DANCE NYC - AUDITION FOR BALLET/CONTEMPORARY DANCERS

Two ballet dancers embrace on an outdoor city stage.

Accent Dance NYC is seeking professional ballet/contemporary ballet dancers for its upcoming spring season. Dancers should have very strong ballet technique with the versatility to perform contemporary works as well.

We are seeking immediate replacement dancers for Pedro Ruiz’s work Danzón, a reimagining of the traditional Cuban social dance, and Danielle Diniz’s A Place for Us, a newly commissioned work about immigrant narratives. We will also be considering dancers for other works and future projects.

Accent Dance NYC was founded to celebrate multiculturalism through dance and prioritizes hiring artists who reflect the communities we serve. BIPOC and immigrant dancers are especially encouraged to apply, though all are welcome.
