Competitive DANCE COACH needed for Ages ranging: 6-18

Seeking  street jazz, dance team, Cheer, and hip hop dance coaches and for our competitive dance company teaching ages 6-18. Prior dance-team experience is a plus! College or Pro-team experience is preferred. Will also serve as a permanent dance sub for various dance classes and genres on Upper East Side and Upper West Side of Manhattan. Part time position with lots of opportunity for growth. Must be fully capable of teaching all styles of competitive dance. Must be responsible, reliable, and committed. Must be fun and full of energy.  Looking for long term staff only. 

This company has been in business for over 23 years, teaching dancers from all over NYC. We have two locations, one on the UES and one on the UWS. We teach young ladies to be strong, and emphasize the importance of teamwork and girl power through competitive dance!

Our dancers have performed for the Harlem Globetrotters, Radio City Music Hall, as well as  basketball games at the Barclays Center and Madison Square Garden. We have been on HBO, W mag, Fox news, and many others. We are a platinum award winning company and teach various genres of dance including Hip Hop, Broadway, Contemporary, Street Jazz, Lyrical and so much more. We refer to our dancers and staff as Family. 

Dates needed:

Demo class TBA in June for interview/trial class
Wednesdays 3:45 - 5:00 - cheer Nov-Dec

Fridays 4:00-6:00 in January - May
Sundays - 1:00-4:00 Jan -May
Classes as head teacher: $40.00-$45.00 per hour to start 
(increase after assessment.)
