What is "We Move"?

Established under the direction of Drye | Marinaro Dance Company, We Move is a choreographic showcase with an opportunity to present your work, build a diverse network of artists, and expand your craft, creativity, and community. Our Mission is to offer impactful experiences for artists and viewers alike, and foster future collaborative opportunities; WE believe dance is more than just movement! It can serve as a vehicle of change for ourselves and our communities.

THEME: LOVE MOVES: Valentine’s Day!

“LOVE MOVES” is our yearly We Move Valentine’s Day celebration, as Drye | Marinaro Dance Company welcomes a community of artists to come together and share the joy, diversity, and complexities of LOVE through movement! 

DATE: Saturday, February 15th at 7 PM EST. Bar is open before and after!

Location: 3 Dollar Bill, 260 Meserole St Brooklyn, NY

 

Your Work!

- Choreographers/Artists must be from NYC and surrounding areas

-Work Should be between 3-7 mins max

-Work can be movement based of any genre (Hip Hop, Contemporary, Jazz, Cabaret, Drag, etc). 

-Work should explore and share a strong perspective on LOVE and its many facets.                                           

-Work should show strong performance quality and a clear conceptualized idea.

-All Performers (and audience members) must be 21+, no exceptions

- Title, Music Credits, and Brief Description of your work

- Video sample of your work: (Vimeo, Youtube, Google Drive, etc.)

 

Participating Artists will receive performance video, photos, and $5 of each ticket sold under their unique artist code!
