Job Opportunity: Male-Identifying Dancer for Pointeworks

Contract Dates: June 1–20, 2025
Location: San Diego, CA
Performance Dates: San Diego, CA (June 14) & Irvine, CA (June 20)

Pointeworks is seeking a male-identifying dancer to join our company for an exciting contract during our 2025 Season. The role includes performances of original and world-premiere works. 

Requirements:

    •    U.S. citizenship required or current work visa
    •    Minimum 5 years of professional dance experience
    •    Soloist or principal-level ability and artistry
    •    Strong technical foundation in classical and contemporary ballet
    •    Height suitable for partnering, minimum height 5’8

Expectations:

    •    Full availability for rehearsals and performances from June 1–20, 2025
    •    Professionalism, adaptability, and strong collaboration with choreographers and partners

Compensation:

    •    $2,000 contract
    •    Travel stipend and housing provided
