Position Overview
The Studio Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of AY Well+Fit Studio, ensuring the delivery of exceptional client experiences, efficient staff management, and the achievement of revenue goals. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to maintain a high-quality fitness environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management:

Oversee daily studio operations to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Manage and maintain studio equipment and facilities.

Develop and implement studio policies and procedures.

Staff Supervision:

Recruit, train, and supervise staff, including instructors and front desk personnel.

Schedule staff shifts and manage time-off requests.

Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to the team.

Client Experience:

Foster a positive and inclusive studio culture.

Address client concerns and feedback promptly and professionally.

Monitor and enhance the overall client experience, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.

Class Scheduling:

Manage class schedules to optimize attendance and instructor availability.

Coordinate with instructors to ensure coverage and consistency in programming.

Marketing and Community Engagement:

Collaborate with the marketing team to promote studio programs and events.

Develop initiatives to attract and retain members, including promotions, workshops, and special events.

Represent the studio in community and industry events to build brand awareness.

Financial Performance:

Track and report on financial metrics, including revenue, expenses, and membership growth.

Implement strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals.

Manage budgets and control costs effectively.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, fitness management, or a related field (preferred).

3+ years of experience in fitness studio or gym management.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Knowledge of fitness industry trends and best practices.

Proficiency in scheduling and management software (e.g., Mindbody Online).

Sales and marketing experience is a plus.
