Homeport Art House's Dance-Artist in Residence 2025 applications close APRIL 1st! 

The mission of Homeport Art House Residency is to offer artists the freedom to create work in a comfortable home environment, supported by Maine’s natural beauty, and to engage with the local community by sharing their process through informal presentations, workshops, or other offerings. Each residency is a total of 6 full days at Homeport Art House.

This residency takes place on the grounds and home of co-director Dale Andree in mid-coast Maine. With the dance studio right above the garage artists will be living just steps away from their creative space. However, we encourage artists to look beyond the studio walls and take in the beauty and inspiration of the surrounding water, forest, and fields.

Each residency will conclude with an informal showing of the artist's work for our local community. The showing will be held in the studio.

Artist Stipend - artist stipend are contingent on artists being present for the full residency

1 artist - $500
2 artists - $850 (total)
3-4 artists - $1,250 (total)
