Male Dancers Needed

The Fawn on the Lawn is a 15 minute, 7 dancer piece to be performed in four venues in NYC in late May/beginning of June.

On March 24th, 10am - 12pm, I will be holding auditions at Nancy Meehan Studio at Westbeth in the West Village, 55 Bethune Street, 12th floor. PLEASE EMAIL to set up a specific audition time. rachaelidakosch@gmail.com

Movement will be Graham/ballet, pedestrian, theatrical. -Intricate small movement as well as leaps. A contemporary “Story Ballet”. Characters: Mother, three adult daughters, two twin-like men, a fawn.

The piece is booked:

- On May 16th at the Secret Theatre in Woodside Queens. -Rehearsal that afternoon in the theater, performance in the evening.

- At the Tyler Loftis Studio, -art gallery in TriBeCa on May 17th in the evening.

- At Battery Park by Sunrise, in the afternoon, on June 1st.

- On the afternoon of June 7th at the Diana Byer Studio -second floor in St. Mark’s Church in the East Village.

Rehearsal schedule: Mondays and Wednesdays 10am - 12 noon starting April 21st and going until we perform on May 16th, with probable additional rehearsals, if needed, to be booked around dancers schedules.

I have rehearsal space booked at the Nancy Meehan Studio and at the Diana Byer Studio. We may possibly rehearse at Gina Gibney on Chambers Street as well.

Pay: $20 per hour for rehearsal and prep./performance hours.
