Patient Care Coordinator/Therapist Asst

We are a busy Sports Medicine/ PT clinic located in midtown Manhattan. We are currently looking for a goodhearted and driven person that is willing to learn in a fast paced environment. Our clinic is a very fun place to work. Some knowledge of anatomy is ideal, but most importantly that you have a positive attitude, professionalism and compassion for our athletes & patients. You will be working with a great team that is committed to patient care. We all work together and pick up wherever is needed. This is a true team environment. We offer 18 - 27 hours per week, with some schedule flexibility. Pay can be discussed with further inquiry. This is a great opportunity to learn so much about healthcare, anatomy, sports medicine, spine care and personalized care for people. 

The duties of this position include: 

Assisting the Chiropractic & PT Doctors 

Hands on with patients to set them up on therapies and ensure their comfort. 

Scheduling patients and taking payments 

Managing patient correspondence (including answering phones and emails) 

Managing correspondence with insurance companies 

Ideally you: 

Have a background in massage, dance, yoga, personal training, pilates, or other body modality. 

Knowledge of anatomy and appropriate handling of the body. 

You have some receptionist or hosting experience. 

Have your Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 

Requirements:

High School Education/ GED 

Ready to learn 

Willing to work hard 

Personable 

Communicative
