2015 Dance Forum

Join Dance/USA in New York on Friday, January 9th from 9am-12pm for the FREE 2015 Dance Forum and explore two major issues affecting dance professionals today: national funding, and touring. First we will examine trends in national funding and what the philanthropic future will look like. Second, we will take a look at the myths and realities of touring in the U.S. for American dance companies.

Michelle Ramos-Burkhart of Verdict Works, LLC will moderate the Dance Forum. 2015 Dance Forum speakers are:

National Funding Dialogue
Jamie Bennett, ArtPlace America
Steven Lawrence, Foundation Center
Michael Stroik, Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy

Touring Dialogue
MK Wegmann, National Performance Network
Sara Nash, New England Foundation for the Arts
Rosie Herrera, Rosie Herrera Dance Theatre
Stephen Petronio, Stephen Petronio Company
