Welcome to our 2024 Winter Intensive! The BodyStories Winter Intensive aims to continue our mission of fostering creativity and empowering dancers to be independent artists. This year we are happy to announce that our Winter Intensive will take place in two different sessions, one in upstate New York at MAR+RC, and the other within the city. During both sessions of the Intensive, dancers will take part in improvisation, technique, and composition classes taught by Teresa Fellion, BodyStories company members, and guest artists. Classes throughout the intensive will lead up to a live performance that all dancers will have the opportunity to join. Other activities during the week include discussions, guest teachings, feedback sessions, outings, and more! We see immense potential in the artistry of our participants!

Session I will be held in-person and virtually at Middlebrook Arts Research + Residency Center 

Session II will be held in person in NYC.

Dates: January 5-7, 2024

Interdisciplinary LAB: 10:00 - 10:45 am
Technique: 11:00 am - 12:30 pm
Repertory, Improvisation & Composition: 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Diverse Range of Evening Activities Each Day!         

Location: Virtually or at MAR+RC in Jefferson, NY

In person, for the full Intensive: $225
Virtual, for the full Intensive: $180
Drop-in class fee: $20 per class
Housing fee (if needed) per day/night: $40

Dates: January 9-10, 2024

Technique: 10:00 - 11:30 am
Repertory, Improvisation & Composition: 11:45 am - 2:00 pm                           

Location: NYC, Mark Morris Dance Center

Cost:
Both days: $100
One day: $60
