A Comprehensive Intro/Demo to Nihon Buyo with Geimaruza

oin us for a one-of-a-kind opportunity to learn about nihon buyo from the experts. Prior to each of the evening performances, members of Geimaruza will introduce examples of the many character roles found in the kabuki dance nihon buyo repertoire such as young maidens, princesses and warriors, and will provide an indepth look at the family of traditional Japanese musical instruments.

Free for ticket holders to Nihon Buyo Dance performances ticket holders (http://www.japansociety.org/event/nihon-buyo-dance) but reservations are required.
Non-performance ticket holders: $12/$10 Japan society members. 

This event is led in Japanese with English translation.
