Clymove Dance celebrates 5 years with a Spring Gala and performances entitled "A Divine Abnormal," a program of works by founder/director Clymene Aldinger and JoVonna Parks.  The opening night gala, March 19th, will also celebrate the power of women mentorship, with awards going to Aldinger's mentors, Ana Marie Forsythe and the late Denise Jefferson.  Both women will receive the Elisa Monte Leadership Legacy Award, named for Elisa Monte, in whose company Aldinger danced by 8 years.  gala Chair is Melanie Person, co-director of the Alvin Ailey School.
