Friends and Co. Dance was founded in 2016 by Master Teacher, Ms. Charis Moses and Studio Owner, Ms. Kari Ward Kolmetz.  Brought together through love of dance and training dancers, the two found they had much in common, including an interest of sharing their philosophy of community and empowerment of young dancers.

Join us in our inaugural year of Friends and Co. ~ a Full Spectrum Dance Intensive ~ in New York City.  Bringing together world class instructors in a small teaching environment, honing skill and propelling the dancer in their abilities – this Intensive promises to be a wise investment financially for the whole dancer.

For the past 5 summers, Charis has gotten a few of her most talented friends, to come together to teach a one day intensive to 60 + students that come in from Washington DC, (A summer street theatre camp) run by Carol Foster of DC Youth Ensemble. Kari and Charis were talking in Denver this year about bringing Kari’s students to NYC this summer and within a few minutes this one week intensive was born.  The teachers are friends who Charis met on her travels and some still working with major companies…. Hence: Friends and Co.
