“Amalgamating” NYC’s diverse expert teachers, choreographers and techniques; This 3 Day workshop features 7 stellar Artists including: Caroline Fermin of GALLIM DANCE, Sidra Bell of SDBNY, Heather N. Seagraves of Senior Teacher/Trainer at YOGAWORKS, Douglas Gillespie of KATE WEARE COMPANY,  Lauren Slone of MAP FUND and EMPTY NAVE PROJECTS, Jessica Taylor of DAMAGEDANCE and Alana Urda of AMALGAMATE DANCE COMPANY.

ADC’s Summer Workshop is designed for contemporary dancers who are passionate about expanding their artistry, technique, partnering, and improvisation skills. This 3-Day Workshop filled with a range of classes and pro teachers is geared toward pre-professional, professional, and adult dancers of all ages with previous training.  The Repertory Sessions & Culminating Workshop provides registrants the opportunity to perform!  Registration = Affordability.

SCHEDULE:
Day 1: Friday, August 1, 5-9:30pm
5-7pm            GUEST TEACHER (gallim class): Caroline Fermin of Gallim Dance
7-8pm            Amalgamate Dance Co Rep & Partnering with Company Dancer
8-9:30pm       Repertory Session 1: Alana Urda of Amalgamate Dance Company

Day 2: Saturday, August 2, 10am-7pm
10-12pm        GUEST TEACHER (cont. systems): Sidra Bell of SBDNY
12-1:30pm     GUEST TEACHER (yoga): Heather N. Seagraves of Senior Teacher/Trainer at Yogaworks
(15min break)
1:45-3:15pm  GUEST TEACHER (cont.): Doug Gillespie of Kate Weare Company
3:15-4pm        BREAK   
4-7pm             Repertory Session 2: Alana Urda of Amalgamate Dance Company

Day 3: Sunday, August 3, 10:30am-6pm
10:30a-12:30p    Repertory Session 3: Alana Urda of Amalgamate Dance Company
12:30-2pm      GUEST TEACHER (cont. Ballet) : Lauren Slone of MAP Fund and Empty Nave Projects
2-3:30pm        GUEST TEACHER (cont.): Jessica Taylor of DAMAGEDANCE
3:30-5pm        Cool Down / Break / Show Prep
5-6pm              Culminating Show & Reception


*Repertory sessions cannot be broken up.  Must register and attend all three sessions to perform alongside ADC in public performance on August 3.  This is sure to be an incredible experience.
