Looking for Dancers with strong Technique and a curious intuitive mind

For performances at the Evolving Pop-Up Series on Friday, April 17

And at the Vision Festival on Saturday, July 11

There will be three paid rehearsals at the Clemente Soto Velez Cultural Center, New York:

Friday April 10th at 11 am

Monday April 13th at 1 pm

Friday April 17th at 11 am

There will be an improv workshop beginning on Monday April 6th, every week, Monday thru Thursday, starting at 11 am each day–this workshop will be Free for you and you must commit to attending at least three times.

The workshop will be limited to 6 participants to allow personal attention and coaching. The workshop will serve as an introduction to Patricia Nicholson’s approach to a healthy body technique that is based on a unique floor bar that utilizes image work and meditation techniques.

The second part of the class deals with Improvisation investigation and techniques. Again there will be image work, techniques to engage the intuitive mind, thematic improvisation, solo improvisation, group improvisation, Improvisation with Free Jazz Music
