​Ellison Ballet is excited to announce two new educational opportunities for the summer of 2024: Music Workshops exclusively for ballet accompanists and teachers, led by the esteemed master teacher, accomplished accompanist, and Ellison Ballet Music Director, Olga Bazilevskaya.

WORKING WITH ACCOMPANISTS:
​A BALLET TEACHER WORKSHOP

​Designed for the ballet teacher who wants to improve their ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a pianist in the studio.

This workshop educates the ballet teacher in areas of meter, rhythm, tempo, and character of music, as well as communication techniques and demonstration of terminology. Achieving the best class for your students requires an understanding between the teacher and accompanist, created through a common language.
