BodyStories: Teresa Fellion Dance Fall Choreographic Series: Composition and Improvisation Classes

Fall Choreographic Series: Composition and Improvisation Classes

Exploring dance virtually, although new and challenging, has allowed us the opportunity to grow as movers and artists; dancing within our confines, adapting to our environments, and broadening our minds. We are thrilled to announce the launch of our next choreographic series for professional and pre-professional dancers, offering composition and improvisation class virtual experiences!

This class series will continue to further BodyStories’ Mission of unleashing creativity and empowerment in dancers and developing a deeper understanding of the relationship between art and activism. Together we will hone in on our composition and improvisation skills through partnering movement, music, and text, in addition to investigating the relationship between dance and social justice. You won’t want to miss out on this opportunity!

Classes will begin on October 15th and are held every Thursday 12:00-2:00pm EST.

We may be able to offer some additional days and times. Contact us to submit scheduling requests for alternative class times.

All classes will be held on Zoom.

Suggested donations for classes are $10 or $15 dollars.

Please do not hesitate to reach out for any financial assistance or scholarship needed. We are completely open to meeting all participants where they are financially during this time.

BodyStories is also offering professional/pre-professional technique classes and youth technique classes. Youth technique classes begin every Monday 3-4:30pm EST on October 12th, and professional/pre-professional classes begin every Wednesday 12-2pm EST on October 14th. We also have additional times available for these classes. For more information on our technique classes, visit our blog: http://bodystoriesfellion.org/blog/
