Time Lapse Dance brings the Arctic home June 20-21 with a program inspired by choreographer Jody Sperling’s incredible 7-week polar science mission, as choreographer-in-residence aboard a US Coast Guard icebreaker.

THE PROGRAM
Ice Cycle: Expresses the dynamism and fragility of the Arctic icescape (new premiere)
Arctic Memory: Conjures up the vast expanses of the Arctic and exposes its vulnerability
Turbulence: Visualizes patterns of air disturbance into kinetic patterns

SUNDAY, JUNE 21 @ 2pm
+ free post-show kids movement workshop

+ free pre-performance screening of “Place with No Daw,” by Jessica Houston and Bruno Tremblay 
+ free post-show talkback featuring the artists, the filmmakers, and Margie Turrin (Lamont Doherty Earth Observatory)
