Brooklyn Ballet 2015 Season: "Roots & New Ground"


Go around the world and back to Brooklyn to discover our Spring season, "Roots & New Ground", a dance program reflecting multicultural traditions from Ballet to West African dance to Middle Eastern dance, celebrating both new and old dance forms with exquisite dancing and live music. We'll present original works and collaborations including a revival by Founding Artistic Director, Lynn Parkerson, and new works by David Fernandez, Matthew Powell, Mike "Big Mike" Fields, Emily Oleson & Kwame Opare (4/16 & 4/17) and Phaedra and Samara (4/18 & 4/19), featuring select compositions and arrangements by Malcolm Parson. Visit www.brooklynballet.org for more details.
