Children's Access Workshops at New York City Ballet

A young mover participating in NYCB Workshops bends their knees alongside NYCB Buddies. Rosalie O'Connor

Join the artists of New York City Ballet in these movement workshops designed especially for children with physical disabilities and movement disorders.

During these one-hour movement workshops, NYCB Dancers will guide young movers of all abilities in a ballet-based warm-up and choreography inspired by some of the ballets being performed through the season. Children will be partnered with volunteer medical/PT/OT students who will provide support during the event, and modifications, including standing and seated movement options, will be offered.

Intended for children with Cerebral Palsy, Dystonia, Spina Bifida, SMA, and other physical disabilities. No prior dance experience is necessary and siblings are encouraged to participate.
