Classical Ballet Workshop

Professional instructors will help you perfect your technique. In addition to barre, center floorwork and across the floor combinations, the workshops are dedicated to improving technique in jumps, kicks, turns, etc. Stretching and strengthening are also combined to improve dancers’ power. Yurie Yoshida started her career at the age of 3 in Tokyo, Japan. After  she received her Bachelor in Physical Education in Japan, she came to NY and studied at Alvin Ailey American Dance Center. She has been dancing several dance companies, and festivals in NY since 1997, such as American Dance Festival, Chen and Dancers, Michael Mao Dance, Rod Rogers Dance Company, etc. She has been teaching at dance schools, fitness centers and dance companies, also judging dance competitions and choreographing many dance pieces for dance companies and schools in NY and tri-state area for many years.
