About class: Active dance practice infuses our receptive bodies with further understanding of muscle patterning, rhythm, relationships to self, other and space, and anatomical structure. In this Intermediate/Advanced level Contemporary class, we will explore all of these elements in an accessible and delightful way as we move from feel good warming floor work into full tilt phrases. We will create energy through through momentum and drive through space and use this push of energy to push our boundaries and openly, honestly and without fear. Let’s dance, have fun, support each other, and not be frightened of our potential to bust a move.
