A two-day Contemporary Indian technique focused workshop inspired by Indian Classical (Odissi, Bharatanatyam), and Contemporary movement styles, along with some discussion, theory, and history. There will be taught choreography, with lots of room for play and emphasis on refinement across the two days. Some South Asian classical or Western Modern experience is a plus, but not necessary! I’m currently interested in exploring how to assign “technique” to a yet to be codified medium, would love for y’all to join and move and understand with me ?
